Here are some tips which will help you have the best performance possible at your event...

(These are only suggestions but they will improve the overall quality of the performance.)

1. Try and schedule the show at least 30 minutes after the start time of the party... People arriving late create a huge distraction. And the enemy of any performance (especially one for children) is distraction.

2. When at a restaurant try and schedule the show 30-45 minutes after the food is served... Food being served in the middle of the show will disrupt the performance. Keep in mind restaurant are usually late with the food so you should try to consider that when scheduling.

3. Whenever possible have the magic show inside... Again, distraction can ruin the flow of a comedy magic show and outside is full of distractions. A bug flying by can completely destroy an entire section of the show. Not to mention dogs barking, people mowing their lawns, the sun in people's eyes etc. etc. Plus, it is less comfortable for both the performer and the audience.

Note: This is just a suggestion. The Amazing Dave has NO problem performing outside, and realizes that there are sometimes when outside is the best or even the only option for the show.

4. Avoid food or drinks during the show for children... Food is a huge distraction for children during a magic show. Not to mention foods like popcorn create a huge mess.

5. Above all: Have fun and don't stress out!..The Amazing Dave is on the way and he's going to deliver a great performance at any point in the party, inside or outside, with food or without! You just sit back, relax, and have a great time!
